Alexander Vassilievitch was the son of Vassili Petrovich (?-1940) and Varavara Vassilievna (?-1948).  He was married to Antonina Antonovna Strauss (1899 – 10/VII/1937). He was the Godfather of Andrei Sergeievitch who was born on March 31, 1938 in Florence, Italy.
